Inspired by her collection of antique postcards dating from the 1890's through the 1920's Lois Clarkson's Father Christmas figures represent over 10 countries and their traditions. They include the French Pere Noel, German Belsnickle, English Father Christmas, American Thomas Nast santa, the American soda pop santa and more. Each one is hand sculpted, dressed in vintage fabrics and adorned with antique toys.

Lois' creations have been featured in the books: Santa Claus Collection Vol. 5, The Doll by Contemporary Artist and Santa Dolls Historical to Contemporary and in Early American Life and Country Living magagzines.

The Christmas spirit is always alive at Snowdin Studios where Lois creates her Father Christmas figures in a log cabin studio nestled in Spring Valley, Bucks County, Pa.
